Hey surfer girls! Hows your summer rollin'? Me, I can't complain. I've been in beautiful Costa Rica, teaching English and surfing my brains out. Not a whole lotta time to blog since I have to take a loooong bike ride to get to the internet-equipped library. Plus I promised myself I'd limit my use of any kind of technology as much as possible. At first I worried about missing emails from home, but now I don't miss it one bit! I'm having mad issues finding the letters on this keyboard, and it's only been a month of being truly wireless. I'm goin' savage, dudes!

Speaking of which! The heat and humidity down here get a little nuts, so as you can imagine, my lioness hair needs some serious taming to stay good-lookin'. That's why I was so glad to find this helpful how-to video from Geri Hirsch's DIY series Leaf. I've never even HEARD of a "turband" before this girl's vid, and now it's saving my life every day. Figured I'd share the wealth!
