New Years Eve with Glamour Girl Pink

Here are some simple but impressive hor d'oeurvres to serve with lovely Glamour Girl Pink on New Years Eve or for any special celebration.

Meat & Cheese Platter:
Meats: Salami, Prosciutto, Soppressata (Italian cured dry sausage)
Cheeses: Asiago, Brie, Aged Cheddar, Montagnolo (creamy blue cheese), Rondin with herbs (creamy goat cheese)
Sliced pears
Fig jam
Fresh Grapes
Italian or Greek olive mix
Bread sticks
Plain crackers

Figs with goat cheese:
Halve figs. Top with creamy goat cheese, drizzle with honey and garnish with a mint leaf.

Endive with Smoked Salmon
Lay a slice of smoked salmon in an endive leaf. Top with a dollop of crème fresh and a few capers.

Garlic Toasts
¾ inch slices of Italian bread, toasted in a 375 degree oven for 6 minutes.
Mince 2 large cloves of garlic and sauté in 4 tablespoons of butter. Season with salt & pepper, stir in 14 cup of chopped parsley. Spoon over toasts and serve.

Bacon Wrapped Apricots with Sage
Top dried apricots with a leaf of sage. Wrap in bacon. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Brush with maple syrup.
