Turn your favorite autumn sangria into a frightfully delicious crowd-pleaser with these awesome DIY Glow in the Dark Severed Hand Ice Cubes! Seriously, seeing these glowing hands floating in some red sangria ... well I've never craved bloody limbs like THIS before.

To make these spooky ice cubes, use Tonic Water! The luminescence comes from the quinine in the tonic, which naturally glows blue when exposed to UV light. It's wicked cool.

You'll need:

  • 3 cups tonic water
  • 2 large latex-free rubber gloves
  • 2 rubber bands
  • wax paper
  • baking sheet
  • black lights

Here's what you do:

  1. Flatten the tonic water. Just pour into a dish and swish around several times until the bubbling stops.
  2. Fill each glove with about 1 1/2 cups of the flat tonic water. Squeeze out as much air as possible and close the opening of the glove tightly with a rubber band.

  3. Lay the gloves flat on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Place in the freezer until solid, at least over night.

  4. Remove ice hands from the freezer, and peel off the latex gloves and rubber bands, revealing a hand-shaped ice cube.

  5. Drop hands into a large pitcher of Wild One's Untamable Apple Sangria, position the pitcher under black lights, and serve!
