![]() Hello beautiful people. Glamour Girl here! This New Year's Eve, I am hosting the most glamorous soiree my sisters have ever seen. There will be music playing, friends dancing, bubbly flowing, and strangers kissing at midnight (gasp)! I've been scouring Pinterest for weeks looking for the perfect little details to ring in the new year with style. Check out what I have planned for my party, and tell me what you're doing this New Year's Eve in the comments below!
Step One: Set The Mood New Year's Eve is the perfect excuse for me to indulge my bubble obsession. Of course I want bubbles in my drink, but why not in my ears too?! This playlist is a collection of the best bubbly beats on Spotify, and it makes the perfect party playlist, too! Think old-timey, loungey, winks at you music, with some more modern champagne-themed tunes thrown in.
Step Two: Decorate Keep it simple and sparkly for your New Year's soiree. Silver and Gold are timeless classics - and it's really easy to find metalic decorations this time of year! However, if you really want to go with the bubbly theme, maybe go Gold and Pink (to match your Glamour Girl Sparkling White and Glamour Girl Sparkling Pink wines, of course)! It's a little romantic, a little playful, and ever-so glamorous. Here are some of my favorite ideas. Tie ribbons around champagne glasses instead of wine charms!
Step 3: Bubbly Bar Why simply offer sparkling wine when you can provide your guests so much more? A do-it-yourself Bubbly Bar is perfect for entertaining because it requires minimal work with maximum fun for your guests! I've provided a checklist with everything you need to create the perfect bubbly bar.
Step 4: Hors D'Oeuvres The best way to feed your New Year’s Eve guests: lots of tiny appetizers! I snagged these recipes from the The Wine Sisterhood (there's plenty more where they came from) and I think they're perfect. No need for circulating caterers either - set all the food together on one table, or place trays around the room for your guests to enjoy as they mingle!
Pomegranate Jeweled Cheeseball
Step 5: A New Year's Resolution Game! Have your guests write their New Year’s Resolution on small pieces of paper. Fold them up, put them in a jar and shake them! Then, have your guests each pull a piece of paper from the jar. Take turns reading your resolutions aloud and guessing who they belong to! Another fun idea: Have your guests email their resolutions to you ahead of time. Print them out and cut them into tiny fortunes - then bake them into cookies! Serve each of your guests a cookie (with a glass of bubbly, of course) and have them take turns reading their resolutions and guessing who they belong to!
Now you have everything you need to hostess the perfect ![]() Submit Your Comment
